work station ( PC ), work with the IBM LANDP and CT financial

Interface & Power Supply
Both BRC717 and BRC518 are connectedeither with the PS/2 mouse port or the Serial (RS232) port of
the IBM branch teller terminal (PC). Both devices can share one of the ports and can also connect to
either of the ports individually. When connected to the PS/2 mouse port through the BRC1758M cable,
the devices are powered by the +5V of the mouse port. When connected to the RS232 port, the devices
are powered by the +5V of the PS/2 mouse port or the keyboard port of the IBM PC through the
BRC1758S cable adapter.
